Appointments

Urgent Appointments:

If you are feeling very ill please let the reception staff know and you will be put through to the nurse to discuss arrangements.

Consultations:

Our standard appointments are 10 - 15 minutes. If you require more time please ask for a double appointment. Psycological and workplace problems, 3 or more issues, an issue plus a pap smear, skin checks, or if you are tired all the time, are examples when double appointments should be booked.  If in doubt ask the receptionist.

Telephone Contact:

Medical staff are contactable at all times during opening hours.  Please ask the reception staff to pass along your message and you will be contacted as soon as possible if the doctor isn't available to take your call.

Reminder Systems:

We have a Recall / Reminder system in place to let you know when you are due for certain test or preventative health procedures (eg: pap smears, immunisations, etc).  If you feel you should be receiving these but aren't let us know immediately - 07 4059 1755 or info@cbms.com.au.

Privacy:

Your privacy is taken very seriously.  We do not disclose any information to anyone unless your permission has been sought and given.  Places that may ask for information might be: other medical practices (eg: your medical history), Medicare Australia or pathology companies.  Our privacy policy is available for review upon request.

Complaints:

If you have a complaint, which we hope are few, please raise your concerns to the doctors or staff at the medical centre.  If you cannot resolve your issue with us, you can contact the Health Complaints Commission, GPO Box 3089, Brisbane 4001. Tell 1800 077308.
